Bank Support Worker - The Orchard

Role:  Support Worker - The Orchard 

Location: Daventry NN11 4DP

Salary: £13.20 - £13.90* per hour ( This rate is effective as of 1st April - if you start prior to this date, your hourly rate will be £12.60 - £13.60 and will be automatically uplifted on 1st April)

Due to continued growth within our EPIC team we are seeking Full Time superhero’s to join our AMAZING supportive team at The Orchard, to help deliver outstanding care and support to the people we support lives

At The Orchard we provide support for six people with Mental Health needs

Experience within the care sector is not needed as we offer full training, coaching and development.

The Orchard offer sector leading training and coaching to help their staff level up and further there career by learning new key skills, gaining a variety of excellent qualifications which can led to a vast number of progressment opportunities within the social care sector

Many of our Regional and Service Managers joined us as Support Workers and through ongoing training and coaching they are continuing to move further up the accomplish ladder!

As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day to day support and routine of the people we support including:

  • Supporting People We Support with Gardening
  • Accompanying People We Support to Leisure Centre’s
  • Supporting People We Support with Arts and Crafts
  • Supporting People We Support with Cooking
  • Going to the cinema with People We Support
  • Going bowling with People We Support
  • Going shopping with People We Support and accompanying them to trips to town centre
  • Teaching Key Life Skills and Assisting with Daily Living Skills
  • Promoting independence for the people we support whilst helping them live a fulfilling life
  • Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people we support
