Job Title: Business Development Executive – Peak & ALFA – Keys Group
Location: Home based with regular travel to our Peak Sites (Manchester to Birmingham) and support centre in Halesowen.
Salary: Up to £35k
Type: Full-time
Reports to: Business Development Manager

Keys offers education and care services for children, young people and families across England and Wales through its specialist schools, residential children’s homes, supported accommodation services, and family assessment centres.
Activities are offered by Peak through its specialist adventure centres including water sports, mountain biking and climbing centres, across England.
This Business Development Manager role will cover our Peak adventure centres and our ALFA (Alternative Learning For All) education offer within the Keys division.

Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic, energetic and passionate Business Development Executive to join the commercial team. The Business Development Executive will support the Business Development Manager driving the growth and expansion of our Peak services and our newly launched product ALFA (Alternative Learning For All).
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and developing relationships with potential clients. The position will also be responsible for a small team of customer care advisors. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales, marketing, and or customer service, with a focus on the education and care industry. Outdoor activities experience is not required, however would be advantageous.
This role will be home based with regular travel to our Peak centres and will include regular travel to our Support Centre in Halesowen, Birmingham.
Key Responsibilities:

Line Management:

Supervise and mentor the customer care team

Set performance targets, conduct regular appraisals, and provide ongoing support and development opportunities

Provide mentoring and training opportunities for the team to ensure continual development and that sales targets are met

Sales Growth
-
Working alongside Peak and ALFA operational teams, monitor and analyse occupancy metrics, providing strategic direction and making data-driven decisions to improve performance and address areas of concern.

Ensure Peak and ALFA are listed on relevant frameworks to support referral pipelines.

Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions

Partnership and Relationship Management:
-
To create, build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Local Authorities, schools, academy trusts and virtual schools.

To represent the organisation at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

Marketing and Communications:
-
To work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement effective marketing campaigns to promote our services.

To create compelling proposals, presentations, and promotional materials.

Take an active lead of Peak social media.

Compliance and Quality Assurance:
-
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality assurance in all aspects of service delivery.

Work with operational colleagues to ensure products deliver high quality outcomes for young people.
Qualifications and Experience:

2+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or customer service required

2+ years of experience in education or care industry required

Experience in line managing a team

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Must be able to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively
