Deputy Care Manager - Ty Arfryn (SA31)

JOB ROLE: Deputy Manager

LOCATION: Johnstown, Carmarthen (SA31)

PAY RATE: £14.80 - £15.40* per hour

Due to continued growth, we are urgently seeking a full time (35 hours per week) Deputy Manager to join our team at Ty Arfryn.

If you are a Care Assistant / Support Worker / Senior Support Worker with an NVQ / QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care and the enthusiasm and commitment to live our company values every, this may be the role for you!

 

About Ty Arfryn:

Ty Arfryn is a 7 bed service in the heart of Carmarthen that provides specialist support for individuals with functional mental health needs and/or learning disabilities; this includes individuals with a forensic background, alcohol and substance misuse.

We have a team of highly trained staff that are available to provide support 24 hours per day. The service is of minimal restrictions and aims to promote independence at every opportunity.

The home is within walking distance of the town centre and public transports stops right outside the home. Nearby places of interest include the Excel Bowling Alley, Leisure Centre and extensive woodland walks of natural beauty.

 

We are looking for a Deputy Manger who has:

  • Broad experience of managing people, service and quality within Mental Health and Learning Disabilities
  • Must have NVQ / QCF in Health and Social Care Level 3 or above and be willing to work towards Level 4
  • A high level of personal integrity towards providing a high standard of service
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills and the ability to work on own initiative
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Good awareness of CQC legislation, updates, changes and best practice
  • A good understanding of commercial principles and practices
