Location: Rhoose, Barry. Close to Cariff Airport

Salary: £36,750

We are excited to announce the opening of our new care home, Bay View and are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Care Home Manager to lead this new venture.

About the Role:

As the Registered Care Home Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the establishment and management of our brand-new care home. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our services, set high standards of care, and make a real difference in the lives of those we support.

As the Registered Care Home Manager, you won't just manage; you will inspire, innovate, and breathe life into our new care home. This is your canvas to paint a brighter future, where the standard of care knows no bounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Provide strong leadership and management, creating a positive and supportive environment for both residents and staff.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with all relevant regulatory and statutory requirements, including CQC (or relevant local authority) standards.

  • Team Building: Recruit, train, and develop a skilled and compassionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional care.

  • Quality Care: Oversee the delivery of high-quality person-centered care, promoting independence, dignity, and well-being for residents.

  • Budget Management: Manage the financial aspects of the home, including budgeting and cost control.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build positive relationships with residents, their families, healthcare professionals, and the local community.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices to enhance the quality of care and service delivery.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a care home setting.

  • QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care

  • Strong understanding of CQC regulations and a track record of maintaining compliance.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

  • Passionate about delivering exceptional care and improving the lives of residents.
