Oldham OL8 1XR

£45,000 Per Annum

08:30-21:00

Boston House are looking for RGNs with a real passion for working with people with complex disabilities following a brain injury. If you are looking for a rewarding role and you are committed to improving the quality of life for others, then working at Boston House as a RGN could be the career for you.

You will receive high quality support and training and a career development path within Nursing.

Boston House provides support for 17 adults with complex needs following a brain injury.Our highly trained support team offer a personalised rehabilitation support plan to meet the specific needs and goals of the individuals we support. This includes a tailored rehabilitation service consisting of physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, and cognitive rehabilitation. 

As a RGN, you will be involved in the day to day support and routine of the people within the service including but not limited to

  • Ensure all people we support have a full care plan pathway in accordance with relevant standards.
  • To take responsibility for ensuring high standards of direct patient care.
  • Ensure patient records are up to date and are an accurate reflection of the situation.
  • To provide guidance and role modelling to junior staff, through actively being involved in and directing care and on clinical issues.
  • Provide support to all team members to ensure the smooth running of the Unit
  • To ensure systems are in place to maintain the safe storage and administration of drugs in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Council code of practice
  • Ensure the effective planning, delivery and evaluation of all nursing care and integrated therapy plans

 

About you

  • Valid NMC Pin
  • Experience in ABI
