JOB ROLE: Acting Senior Support Worker

LOCATION: Manchester (M9)

SALARY: £12.00 - £13.40* per hour

Byron lodge are recruiting towards an acting Senior Support Worker, to cover holiday and sickness. This is a full time position split between Support Worker and Senior Support Worker duties.

Due to continued growth, we are urgently seeking full time (35 hours per week) Senior Support Workers to join our team at Byron Lodge.

If you are a Care Assistant / Support Worker with an NVQ / QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care and the enthusiasm and commitment to live our company values every, this may be the role for you!

Byron Lodge is a fast pace and lively environment that supports up to 14 adults with Acquired Brain Injuries.

Many of our Managers and Team Leaders joined us as a Support Worker and through ongoing training and coaching provided by us they are continuing to move further up the accomplish ladder into more senior positions.

 

As a Senior Support Worker, you will be involved in the day to day support and routine of the people within the service including

  • Managing a team of Support Workers
  • Providing high standards of care and support for service users, in line with care and support plans
  • Encourage good community relationships by promoting a variety of activities
  • Accurately report, record and maintain records as required and working to care plans
  • Liaise with health professionals and their families
  • Complete supervisions and audits
  • To ensure that all duties undertaken by reporting staff are performed to required standards, and that all such staff contribute in a positive manner to provide a happy, efficient and homely atmosphere within the Home.
