Senior Support Worker - Kidderminster (DY11)

Position: Senior Support Worker – Complex Care

Location: Kidderminster (DY11)

Pay Rate: £14.40 – £15.00* per hour

Hours: 35 hours per week

Who We Are:

Honeybrook House provides care and support for up to 10 adults with learning disabilities and autism in a calm and welcoming environment on the outskirts of Kidderminster. Our peaceful setting offers convenient access to local amenities, with the town centre just five minutes away and excellent public transport options nearby.

Your Role:

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Leading and supporting a team of dedicated Support Workers
  • Delivering high-quality, person-centered care in line with individual support plans
  • Encouraging independence, dignity, and personal growth
  • Assisting with daily tasks including personal care, household duties, budgeting, and community access
  • Supporting both male and female clients in their homes
  • Liaising with families, professionals, and external agencies
  • Using digital tools (iPads, apps, etc.) for record-keeping and communication
  • Providing coaching, mentoring, and hands-on support to your team

What We’re Looking For:

  • Ideally has shift leading or team leading experience
  • Well-versed in neurodiversity in the workplace
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and digital note-taking systems
  • Experience working with learning disabilities (LD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), sensory processing disorder, and trauma-informed care
  • Skilled in care plan creation
  • Able to communicate effectively with external medical professionals
  • Competent in conducting risk assessments
