JOB ROLE: Senior Support Worker
LOCATION: The Jays, Merthyr Tydfil (CF47)
SALARY:£15.25 - £15.85*per hour
HOURS: 35 hours per week
Due to continued growth, we are looking for Support Workers to join our team at one of our brand new services based in Merthyr Tydfil, The Jays!
As a Senior Support Worker, you will be involved in the day-to-day support and routine of the people within the service including:
- Managing a team of Support Workers
- Providing high standards of care and support for people we support, in line with care and support plans
- Encourage good community relationships by promoting a variety of activities
- Accurately report, record and maintain records as required and working to care plans
- Liaise with health professionals and their families
- Complete supervisions and audits
- To ensure that all duties undertaken by reporting staff are performed to required standards, and that all such staff contribute in a positive manner to provide a happy, efficient and homely atmosphere within the Home.
