Salary: £13.40 - £14.20 per hour / £24,388 - £25,844 per annum
Shift Patterns: Full time – 35 Hours a week
Mandatory: NVQ Level 3 in Health Social Care (applications without this will not progress)
Full UK Driving Licence with access to a vehicle: Preferred
About Honeybrook House
Honeybrook House provides a supportive home for up to 10 adults with learning disabilities and autism. Situated on the outskirts of Kidderminster, we offer a tranquil environment while being close to community amenities. With excellent public transport links, residents can easily access local facilities.
Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our amazing team. You will be instrumental in ensuring our residents receive high-quality care while also managing a team of Support Workers.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Management: Lead and support a team of Support Workers.
- Care Delivery: Provide high standards of care in line with individual care plans.
- Community Engagement: Foster positive community relationships through various activities.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Collaboration: Liaise with health professionals and families.
- Supervision: Conduct team supervisions and audits to ensure quality standards.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Health Social Care (1+ years as a Senior Support Worker or Team Leader).
- Enthusiasm and commitment to our company values are essential; prior experience in care is not mandatory as we offer full training.
