JOB ROLE: Support Worker

HOURS: Full Time & Part Time positions available 

LOCATION: Congleton/Holmes Chapel

SALARY: £12.00 - £12.70 per hour - dependent on qualifications and experience 

Full UK Driving License with access to a vehicle: Desirable not essential 

Please note interviews will be held at the head office located in Sandbach.

Our specialist Supported Living and Outreach service provides vital support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, and acquired brain injuries. Role Overview

As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day support and routines of the individuals we serve.

As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day to day support and routine of the people within the service including:

  • Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
  • Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
  • Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
  • Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administrating medication.
  • Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
  • Assisting with personal care as required.
  • Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
  • Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the care sector is not required; we provide comprehensive training.
  • A strong enthusiasm and commitment to our company values is essential.
