JOB ROLE: Support Worker
LOCATION: Newport, Gwent (NP20)
PAY RATE: £12.00 - £12.70* per hour

About Manor Lodge:
We provide support at varying levels, depending on the assessed needs of the individual and is designed specifically to accommodate the complex needs of a wide range of people. This can include people who have Acquired Brain Injuries, Learning Disabilities or Mental Health needs.

We provide people with the right support, which assists them in developing coping techniques, which make a noticeable difference to their everyday lives. Experience within the care sector is not essential as we offer full training, however what you do need is the enthusiasm and commitment to live our company values every day to ensure we move mountains to support people to live happy and healthy lives.
As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day to day support and routine of the people within the service including
- Prompting service users independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life
- Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests
- Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying service users to routine appointments or administrating medication
- Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping
- Assisting with personal care (Depending on service user)
- Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking
