JOB TITLE: Support Worker

LOCATION: Kewstoke, Weston-Super-Mare (BS22)

SALARY: £12.60 - £13.30

Due to continued growth within our EPIC team we are seeking both Full and Part time superhero’s to join our AMAZING supportive team at Sandpiper, to help deliver outstanding care and support to the people we support

 

About Sandpiper:

Sandpiper provide a specialist approach for 6 people with Acquired Brain Injuries, Learning Disabilities and Autism.

We offer sector leading training and coaching to help their staff level up and further there career by learning new key skills, gaining a variety of excellent qualifications which can led to a vast number of progression opportunities within the social care sector

Many of our Regional and Service Managers joined us as Support Workers and through ongoing training and coaching they are continuing to move further up the accomplish ladder!

 

As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day to day support and routine of the people within the service including:

  • Involved in the support and routine of the people we support.
  • Promoting independence for the people we support whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
  • Maintaining and supporting with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administrating medication.
  • Teaching Key Life Skills and Assisting with Daily Living Skills including cleaning and cooking.
  • Offer enhanced care with a flexible approach for all the people we support.
  • Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.

Experience within the care sector is not essential as we offer full training, however what you do need is the enthusiasm and commitment to live our company values every day to ensure we move mountains to support people to live happy and healthy lives.
