Wake Night Support Worker - Maidenhead (SL6)

ROLE: Wake Night Support Worker

LOCATION: Maidenhead

SALARY: £12.60 - £13.30* per hour

HOURS: 18 hours per week, 2X shifts per week.

We are currently looking to recruit a part time Wake Night Support Worker due to the specific care needs and preferences of the people we support. This requirement is in accordance with the Equality Act 2010 and is classed as a genuine occupational requirement, making the role exempt from gender-based discrimination provisions. Applicants must also be aged 18 or over due to the nature of the support provided.


About Danes House:

Our specialist Supported Living and Outreach service in Maidenhead, provides support for people with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health. We understand the importance of providing person-centred support that enables independence and meets each individual's needs.


As a Wake Night Support Worker, you will be involved in the day to day support and routine of the people within the service including:

  • Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
  • Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
  • Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
  • Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administrating medication.
  • Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
  • Assisting with personal care as required.
  • Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
  • Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.
