JOB ROLE: Wake Night Support Worker

LOCATION: Neath Port Talbot, Swansea

SHIFTS: 36 hours

SALARY: £12.00 - £12.70 Depending on qualifications

Weekends Required

Based in Neath Port Talbot our new supported living service supports up-to 3 individuals with Autism, Learning Disabilities and Mental Health needs. The service consists of 4 bedrooms, with a shared lounge and kitchen area.  Our housing-related support service focuses on promoting wellbeing, greater independence and social inclusion.

As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day to day support and routine of the people within the service including

• Prompting service users independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life
• Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests
• Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying service users to routine appointments or administrating medication
• Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping
• Assisting with personal care (Depending on service user)
• Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking
