Wake Night Support Worker - St Austell (PL25)

JOB ROLE: Wake Night Support Worker

HOURS: Full-Time (up to 37.5) per week

LOCATION: St Austell, Cornwall PL25

SALARY: £13.45 - £14.15* per hour

REQUIREMENTS: Full UK Driving License & Access to a Vehicle essential due to location of role.

 

About our Service:

A beautiful complex of 3 properties comprising of a converted 4-bedroom barn where 4 ladies live and 2 single occupancy annexes. There is a communal courtyard which is perfect for social gatherings and warm evening BBQ’s which are a firm favourite with the people we support there. The property is within walking distance of local amenities but situated in a rural location. 24/7 support with a variety of shifts available.

Our specialist Supported Living and Outreach service in St Austell, provides support for people with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health needs and Acquired Brain Injuries

 

As a Wake Night Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring the individuals during the night to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Providing support when needed, including assisting with night-time care routines.
  • Responding to emergencies or incidents that may arise during the night.
  • Maintaining a calm and secure environment, helping to create a peaceful atmosphere for the individuals.
  • Assisting with light domestic tasks as required, such as tidying and cleaning communal areas.
  • Recording incidents or changes in the individuals' condition and ensuring accurate documentation is kept.
  • Working independently throughout the night, maintaining vigilance and attention to detail.

This role requires a calm, reliable, and responsible individual who can work effectively overnight to provide high-quality care and support.
