Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Senior Support Worker to join our AMAZING supportive team at Blackwells
If you are a Support Worker or Care Assistant with an NVQ / QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care and the enthusiasm and commitment to live our company values every, this may be the role for you!
As a Senior Support Worker, you will be involved in the day to day support and routine of the people within the service including
- Managing a team of Support Workers
- Providing high standards of care and support for service users, in line with care and support plans
- Encourage good community relationships by promoting a variety of activities
- Accurately report, record and maintain records as required and working to care plans
- Liaise with health professionals and their families
- Complete supervisions and audits
- To ensure that all duties undertaken by reporting staff are performed to required standards, and that all such staff contribute in a positive manner to provide a happy, efficient and homely atmosphere within the Home.
Blakewells is a residential and supported living service based in Hereford, providing support for people with Learning Disabilities, Autism and/or Mental Health needs. The residential home supports up to 7 adults, offering a variety of supportive pathways, personalised to suit each person’s specific needs. We are focus on the strengths, interests and dreams of each person we support.
Blackwells offer sector leading training and coaching to help their staff level up and further there career by learning new key skills, gaining a variety of excellent qualifications which can led to a vast number of progressment opportunities within the social care sector
Many of our Regional and Service Managers joined us as Senior Support Workers and through ongoing training and coaching they are continuing to move further up the accomplish ladder!
