Team Leader - Rushden

Package Description

Role: Team Leader

Hours per week: 40 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

Location: Rushden

Rate: £12.80 - £13.40 Depending on qualifications

 

Our specialist Supported Living and Outreach service in Rushdenprovides support for people with Learning Disabilities and Autism

We understand the importance of providing person-centred support which enables independence and meets individual’s needs. Through our outcome focused approach, we support people to maximise choice and control in their own lives.

If you are an experienced Support Worker with at least 12 months' experience, an NVQ / QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care and the enthusiasm and commitment to live our company values every, this may be the role for you!

Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a team delivering high quality support services in accordance with an agreed plan
  • Promote and maintain independence, choice and respect throughout all aspects of the service
  • Deliver support in accordance with the relevant National Minimum Standards
  • Adhere to the company’s policies and procedures
  • Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of your work
  • Promote and support the health and safety of the service users at all times
  • Maintain a healthy and safe environment
  • Communicate effectively with tenants, families, colleagues, managers and other professionals, both in writing and verbally
  • Undertake any other duties as required by the business
  • Planning rotas and general data recording and reporting,
  • Delivering information to the Administrator by agreed deadlines

Requirements:

  • A commitment to supporting people to live lifestyles of their choosing
  • Proven experience at Senior Support Worker or Care Assistant level within a Supported Living environment
  • Ability to work to a high standard on your own initiative and as part of a larger team
  • QCF or NVQ Level 3 in Care, or another relevant field is essential
  • A supervision qualification is desirable but not essential
  • Able to work as part of a team delivering high quality support services in accordance with an agreed plan
  • Demonstrate positive values in line with equal opportunities legislation
  • Able to promote and maintain independence, choice and respect throughout all aspects of the service
  • Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of your work
  • Due to the nature of the role, applicants must be drivers with access to a car
